Kultur Vier

Germans have gotten more interesting as a subject of my studies; I could kind of picture a soap opera about how German  immigrants(typisch Deutscher, bitte) take time to make adjustments to live the American way.

The German may be looked at in many negative ways: awkward, neurotic, and perhaps creepy. First, you can have this guy -- let's say David -- rushing to a train station and making a fuss by asking a station worker whether his card is valid for his train, since he doesn't want to pay extra for his wrong ticket. Then you add into consideration that he may ride to everywhere, running over pedestrians in the process without ringing beforehand. Also, don't be surprised if he grabs you to the side of the street and confronts you for contaminating a 5-year-old soul as you just walked across the road while red lights were on. And do not forget that he always has his eyes on you, looking at your every movement to the minutest from his apartment.

All jokes aside, though, I can imagine how life in German is going to be difficult for people who seldom care about rules and systems - they had definitely set foot in a rival area.
